Deary Ray has substantial experience litigating employment before courts and arbitration panels across the country. Prior to joining the firm, partner Matt Ray was the head of the labor and employment practice for the Dallas office of one of the world’s largest law firms. Matt has extensive experience litigating individual, class and collective actions involving all aspects of federal and state employment law—including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and ERISA. Matt also has extensive experience litigating cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, employee raiding, violation of non-compete agreements, and breach of employment contracts. Additionally, Matt has considerable experience litigating WARN Act cases, which often involve bankruptcy in addition to employment issues.
